MVRDV Partner and director of the French Studio in Rotterdam, Bertrand Schippan will be in Paris for the Jury Meeting of the competition "Rural School in Haiti" organized by the international platform ARCHsharing.
ARCHsharing proposes, in partnership with the humanitarian association TECHO Haiti, the construction of a rural school for the TE NWA community, north of Port-au-Prince. The project will have to meet many social, constructive and economic challenges while proposing solutions that improve educational conditions. The school will include 7 levels of classes and will benefit more than 50 children in the community.
Bertrand Schippan is in the jury together with French architect Dominique Coulon (Dominique Coulon & Associés), Jurriaan van Stigt (LEVS architecten), NL, Bonaventura Visconti di Modrone (ABVM), Italy, and Delphine Desert (ATELIER A+I) France. The results will be announced on October 13.
