Jan Knikker at Davidson Prize for Excellent Urban Projects

MVRDV Partner Jan Knikker is the keynote lecturer at the Award Ceremony of the Hans Davidson Prize for Excellence in Urban Design in Tel Aviv where he is also a Jury Member of the Prize itself. Jan will held the lecture "Everything is Urbanism" on Sunday, 8 December at 7PM, in presence of the Hon. Hans Docter, Ambassador of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Israel.
The Netherlands Embassy in Tel Aviv proudly supports the Hans Davidson Prize for Excellence in Urban Design, a prize in memory of Dutch urban planner and architect Hans Davidson (1935-2014), who was involved in the design of several cities in the Netherlands since the 1970s. The prize is given annually to a student of The David Azrieli School of Architecture in Tel Aviv University, sponsored by Kimmel-Eshkolot Architects, for work of outstanding merit in the field of urban design. The prize aspires to emphasize the importance of urban planning as a process which directly affects the quality of life in cities.
