MVRDV co-founder Winy Maas is invited to give a keynote lecture on his visionary look on the future of cities at the BAU Conference München, on Friday 15 January 2021. In his projects, Winy Maas, together with The Why Factory, illustrates the many actions needed to improve cities in the future to make the city as such a more greener and collective space.

''Cities in the future need to be lovely, beautiful, exciting – in short, wonderful. This implies a 'bucket list' for the future as we desperately need to go from a blue planet to a green one. My main question would be: How can we go from 'egoism' to 'wegoism'.'' - Winy Maas

The BAU is a 3 days leading international trade fair for architecture, materials and systems in the construction industry which takes place every two years in Munich, Germany. Everyone involved in the international community for planning, building and designing buildings comes together. This years BAU is themed "The future of building".
