To avoid the creation of architecture that can only be used for a short period of time, attention also needs to focus on a buildings’ intrinsic qualities and the ability they have to create value and contribute to our quality of life." – Nathalie de Vries
The University of Texas at Austin, founded in 1883, ranks among the 40 best universities in the world. It supports more than 50,000 diverse students with top national programs across 18 colleges and schools. It is Texas’ leading research university.
