Prior to joining MVRDV in 2018, Land worked as an architect and office manager at Louis Paillard Architecte in France for eleven years. He lends an international perspective to his practice, having completed his architectural studies in both France and the Netherlands, at Ecole d’Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée, the Ecole Nationale Supérieur d’Architecture de Paris La Villette, and at the Eindhoven Technical University in the Netherlands.

On May 5, he will speak at the ENSAM in Montpellier about the waterfront architecture and MVRDV’s ideas on this topic. At the ENSA in Paris, he will elaborate on how MVRDV combines its research with concrete action, on May 6. Finally, he will virtually visit La Martinière-Diderot in Lyon to discuss the general vision of MVRDV for their architecture and design students on May 11.
