Gideon Maasland to discuss measurability of values in architecture at Dag van de Projectontwikkeling

undefined

What is the value of architecture? How are those values measured? Gideon Maasland will discuss value based projects, using MVRDV's Markthal as a example, at the Dag van de Projectontwikkeling on May 19. The session will be led by the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects and Gideon will be joined by our partners in the development of Markthal.

Markthal

Director and architect Gideon Maasland joined MVRDV in 2016. Maasland leads MVRDV’s Studio 8, which is responsible for large-scale, complex buildings. He leads all projects in his studio under development and construction, including Valley, Tripolis Park, and the transformation of Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, as well as various projects in Eindhoven, Poland, and the UK. Renowned for his detailed and dedicated approach, Maasland’s work is hands-on. To ensure the highest quality, he is often on the construction site directly overseeing building processes.

The Dag van de Projectontwikkeling (Project Development Day), organized by NEPROM, is the annual knowledge meeting point for real estate professionals who want to make project and area development a sustainable success.

  • Date & time: May 19 - 14:00-15:15 (CET).
