Peter Chang, Director of MVRDV Shanghai, is going to present one of MVRDV’s most sustainable projects in China – Shanghai Lankuaikei Agriculture Development (LAD) Headquarters at Sustainable Design China Summit in Beijing. Conceived as a “sustainability machine”, the building is now under construction and will be completed in end 2024. Peter will explain how MVRDV managed to greatly reduced the embodied carbon of the design with high-tech and low-tech solutions.
Peter Chang is a Royal Registered Designer, and has rich experience in urban and architectural design. He’s been involved in projects in Australia, China and Singapore. He has worked in a number of internationally renowned firms and as a senior architect and project leader, and is currently responsible for the management and coordination of MVRDV's projects in China. He has been involved in projects such as Vanke 3D city, if Factory, and Vanke Crystal.
