How can we create innovative high-rise buildings?

On November 16th MVRDV Partner and Director of Strategy and Development Jan Knikker will be part of a panel during the “Changing thoughts - what can high-rise buildings do?!” event in Munich, organized by JLL in association with the Urban Land Institute, in which he will give his thoughts on this question.

“Nowadays, high-rises should be designed as three-dimensional urban neighbourhoods and should have at least the same sustainability standards" says Jan.

Munich city society regularly discusses it particularly intensively. Architects, city politicians and project developers around the world are also asking themselves the question: How high should we build? By bringing together experts from planning, development, culture, society and sociology, the Hochhäuser event stimulates exchange between interdisciplinary perspectives.
