Artificial Intelligence has been the subject of much discussion. Governments are careful to monitor the possible harm resulting from its use, and through the European AI Act, the EU approved the world's first comprehensive attempt to regulate the technology. Given its infinite potential, which is already capable of analysing data like never before and creating architectural masterplans based on written prompts, the world of design certainly won't be spared from these changes.
On Saturday 20 April, As part of a Salone del Mobile roundtable featuring Cas Esbach, the meaning of AI for the disciplines of architecture and design will be discussed, and the panel will assess whether it will be just another tool at the service of the sector, or if it could potentially have a much broader and more disruptive impact.
