How does MVRDV use colour to create smart, socially inclusive, eye-catching spaces?
On 27 October, at the Stadt.Land.Farbe conference in Hamburg, Senior Project Manger and Architect Jasmin Dieterle-Proesel will explore the processes underpinning MVRDV works with colour. With reference to an array of MVRDV's projects in which colour is consciously used as a design tool to express different intentions, including the Shenzhen Women and Children's Centre, Haus 1, and KoolKielm, Jasmin will also discuss how we use colour in interventions of variable scales, from temporary installations, facades, and interior design to urban and district planning, while maintaining the ideal solution for each context.
Jasmin Dieterle-Proesel is an architect and senior project manager at MVRDV's Berlin office. Her portfolio includes the planning of numerous large-scale projects with a focus on urban integration and social connectivity, such as Kool Kiel and IPAI, the innovation park for artificial intelligence in Heilbronn. In the German office, she coordinates cross-project planning teams in Rotterdam and Berlin.
