Jan Knikker to discuss Almere Oosterwold at Open House Zurich

As part of Open House Zurich's supporting programme, the Zurich Centre for Architecture (ZAZ BELLERIVE) is hosting a discussion evening on "the do-it-together city", exploring the concept of grassroots urbanism and participatory development practices. The evening will feature MVRDV partner Jan Knikker, who will present Almere Oosterwold, alongside Thomas Kock of Copenhagen's Werk Arkitekter, with their project Herfølge Bjergby. Together with moderator Andreas Ruby, they will explore whether this democratic urban model could be an inspiration for similar approaches in Switzerland.
