On July 21st, MVRDV's director of Urban and Landscape projects Anna Gasco, and director of projects in North America Rutger Huiberts, will present MVRDV's philosophies in urban design and waterfront developments to the public at Cleveland's North Coast Era Summit 2026. The city's waterfront is in the process of being transformed, catalysed by the decampment of the Cleveland Browns from the Huntington Bank Field stadium, with MVRDV actively working on the design of a new masterplan.
In light of this major development, the North Coast Era Summit will bring together leaders from the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation, the City of Cleveland, and successful waterfront redevelopment projects to discuss best practices in design, programming, public engagement, and financial success. Taking the keynote slot on the second day of the summit, Tuesday 21st, Rutger and Anna will present MVRDV's urban approach, illustrating our strategies for waterfront spaces with a selection of projects from all over the globe, from San Francisco to Shanghai.

- Date & Time: July 21, 12:00 pm
