On 24th March, Winy Maas will give a lecture as part of the "The Future of Housing Season" at the Royal Academy of Arts, UK. In this lecture, Winy Maas discuss MVRDV's housing projects, focusing particularly on how to design innovative housing typologies, how create mixed-use communities, and how to rally stakeholders support to drive projects to completion. He will explore the future of housing while bringing an important international perspective to the sometimes introspective UK housing debate.
Throughout spring 2015, the RA presents a season of debates, talks and an exhibition on the future of housing. In a country in the grip of a housing crisis, these lectures aim to unpick old assumptions and challenge established positions
about housing, while at the same time offering a vital platform for fresh ideas that will provoke and inspire in equal measure.
