Jeroen, one of MVRDV's project managers, an architect and urbanist, and a tutor at MVRDV's research institute The Why Factory at TU Delft, will discuss strategic urban planning as a tool for change. Jeroen has been the driving force between many of MVRDV's most significant projects, including the Bjorvika Barcode Masterplan and DNB Bank Headquarters in Oslo, the plan for the Floriade 2022 in Almere, the prize-winning designs for Zaryadye Park and Serp & Molot Factory in Moscow, and the regeneration of New Holland Island in St. Petersburg.
Jeroen will discuss these projects and how they have contributed to his conceptions of architecture and urbanism, and in what direction these discipline will, or even should, be going in! More information (in Dutch) :
