The conference, hosted bythe German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation, Buildings and Nuclear Safety and the Ministry for Food and Agriculture, will explore the contribution of greenery to the quality of urban life. It will also reflect upon a "Green Paper" currently being developed which combines current positions and will be at the congress for discussion. Innovative ideas and best practises from different spheres of activity will be presented and discussed together.
