On 03 July Jacob van Rijs will give the opening lecture at the Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura, Spain’s premier architectural film festival. Jacob van Rijs is also the chairman of the Architecture Film Festival in Rotterdam.  

The festival focuses on the intersection of architectural and film language and will feature both fictional and documentary films. Now in it’s fifth year, the event will explore themes of loss of urban identity through gentrification, migration, and real estate speculation.

The festival is organized by Producciones Dimelo A Mi SL.
