MVRDV has been selected for the new design of Theater aan de Parade

For the new design of Theater aan de Parade in ’s-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands) MVRDV is among the five selected architectural offices. The selected offices are AMA Group Associated Architects, van Dongen-Koschuch Architects and Planners, Kraaijvanger Architects, MVRDV en NOAHH.

Five years ago, the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch had already launched an architect selection for the new Theater aan de Parade, in which MVRDV also participated as one of the candidates. Due to high building costs and the financial crisis, the winning design made by UNStudio was not realized.

This time the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch increased the budget with 12,7 million euros. The winner of the current competition will be announced in the beginning of 2019.
