MVRDV together with ADEPT and AUBE have been selected for the final round of the competition ‘One Center One Garden’ for Guangzhou Cultural Center, China. The project foresees a landscape design of 35 ha and 30.000 m2 of cultural buildings including a theatre with 800 seats, a museum and eight gardens featuring the wonders of the local Lingnan culture. The proposal connects the city and Haizhu lake extending the surrounding urban fabric into an organic grid.
