Job description - Coordinator (0,4 fte)
As coordinator, you stand at the centre of the Why Factory. You have supervision over all activities of the Why Factory (teaching, research, publications) and coordinate these with Prof. Winy Maas and the Faculty of Architecture. You plan and coordinate teaching and research collaborations with other universities and institutions. You regularly teach in the Why Factory's MSc programme and contribute to Why Factory publications.
Requirements
Applicants should speak fluent English and have teaching experience, along with an affinity for writing (scientific or journalistic), project coordination, and the work of the Why Factory.
The Why Factory
The Why Factory (T?F) is a global think tank led by Prof. Winy Maas. It explores possibilities for the development of our cities by focusing on the production of models and visualisations for cities of the future.
Education and research of The Why Factory are combined in a research lab and platform that aims to analyse, theorise and construct future cities. The Why Factory investigates within the given world and produces future scenarios beyond it; from universal to specific and global to local. It proposes, constructs and envisions hypothetical societies and cities; from science to fiction and vice versa. The Why Factory thus acts as a future world scenario making machinery.

Faculty of Architecture & the Built Environment
Since its foundation 110 years ago, the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment has built up a solid international reputation for training architects, urban planners and designers, as well as for its research portfolio and coaching of PhD candidates.
