Nathalie de Vries appointed to consult on the HS2 design panel

Nathalie de Vries has joined the design panel tasked to advise on the development of the UK's High-Speed 2 rail line. The advisary panel is headed by dRMM's Sadie Morgan who has recently become the only creative professional on the British government's National Infrastructure Commission.

The council aims to tackle the HS2 project with design as a key factor from the beginning. Elements along all 300 miles of the railway project will be considered including landscaping, train design, signage, stations and infrastructure.

Alongside Nathalie will be other prominent names in architecture, such as UK architect Glenn Howells and Luke Pearson of industrial design firm PearsonLloyd.
