This afternoon, Markthal was announced as the winner of the FGH Real Estate Award 2016.

The award began in 1989 and is a recognition for promoters involved in the realisation of real estate projects of vision and entrepreneurship.

The independent jury headed by the Utrecht Mayor, Jan van Zanen illustrated how complex real estate development is and commended MVRDV and Provast for achieving the desired, high-end result.
