Great news to start the new year! MVRDV's KU.BE House of Culture and Movement is nominated for the Danish Store Arne 2017 award. This prize is an initiative of the Danish Architects Associations (Copenhagen) and awards built projects as well as inspiring initiatives that have lifted the architecture to a new level in Copenhagen in the last year.

KU.BE House of Culture and Movement is located in Frederiksberg in Copenhagen Denmark. MVRDV worked closely together with co-architect Adept and landscape architects SLA to realize this innovative project. The main ambition of this project was to create a dynamic meeting point for people of all ages taking part in a wide range of activities. Health, culture, leisure and education should smoothly blend together to create a spectacular architectural experience that will become a destination.

The winner of the Store Arne award will be announced on the 27th January at the Danish Architect Association (Copenhagen) New Year's reception.
