MVRDV are pleased to announce Architect, Maria Lopez Calleja has begun a consultation role as one of a team of BIM advisors for the Administration des bâtiments publics, which is part of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure for the government of Luxembourg.
In this role, Lopez will regularly visit Luxembourg meeting project teams to get them started with BIM. Over time, this role will involve overseeing their BIM development and generate all the tools needed for future use.
MVRDV’s adoption of BIM has allowed for innovative technological developments of spatial design and planning, that has enabled intervening within datascape in a more intelligent manner, in real-time collaboration with clients, advisors and experts. It is now an integral tool within the practice that simulates, automatically updates and manages the spatial consequences of the desires of the individual parties involved in a design process which was previously impossible.
