MVRDV shortlisted for competition to transform Cul Crain Bridge (Kulkransporet), Aarhus, Denmark

MVRDV are proud to announce being shortlisted by Aarhus Municipality as one of six competing firms selected to transform Cul Crain Bridge (Kulkransporet) in Aarhus, Denmark.
The competition seeks design proposals that demonstrate how the Cul Crain Bridge will become an incubator; a new lifted green and attractive urban garden connecting the southern harbour with the city centre and demonstrate how businesses, urban life and social diversity can enrich each other.
The Cul Crain Bridge is located on the South Harbor and plays an essential role in the ongoing transformation of harbour front in Aarhus, the culture capital of Europe 2017.
The team consists of MVRDV, SLA, ÅF Infrastructure Planning, Midtconsult Rådgivende ingeniører (Engineers) and Bureau Detours with Institut for (X).
